The cyanotypes keep getting pushed back. The internet makes them sound so easy. Today I learned from Jamie the technician (who resembles "Grumpy" from Snow White) that this process is toxic enough to make a gas mask a good choice. Ugh. Now I do it Monday.
On the happy side, I recived a BIG Good Food Box today. Now I have enough food to feed three of me for a week, all for a slim $17. This service is offered in PTBO, and the food box changes with what is seasonal. You can get an organic version, too! Check out what I got:
3 green peppers
1 head of cabbage
3 lbs of apples *
1 sweet box of clementines (eating them, now)
1 canteloupe
1 bunch of broccoli*
1 romaine lettuce
1 bunch of bananas
1 lb of plum tomatoes
1 box of mushrooms*
3 lbs carrots*
*locally grown
Sweet! My box came with recipes to use the veggies, so I'm making ginger carrot soup and cabbage/carrot bhaji. Man. Cheap surprise produce rules.

Wow! So...does that mean you're in Peterborough, or does that mean that Toronto provides such a sweet veggie option too?

Toronto does it, but so does ptbo. It's all over southern ontario. You should definitely check out the ptbo chapter.
