.pulling punches left and right

I have grown to dislike three hour marathon meetings. I always get cranky at about the 1.5 hour mark, start playing devil's advocate on all the motions, and mostly feel disagreeable. At least I came home to a spotless room tonight ( I got ambitious and cleaned it). In a half hour all my laundry will be done. Ironically, Chris just left today, and for once my room looks sharp and ready to entertain.
I'm really grateful for Chris coming over lately, he's been sparking some life and companionship into an otherwise pretty solitary residence. The only people who have EVER set foot in my room are me, and him.
This week, I'd encourage you to act in service to someone you love or a group you support. Everyone I've run into this past week is it desperate need of support, for some reason. Time of year? People re-immersing themselves in the all too hectic sharktank of fall? So, use your imaginations...get back to me in a week.
Plans are well underway for the winters Potluck. Though a smashing success last year, you can look up my post from that day here. November 11th, I think, its the one with the oreo cheesecake that Des counselled me through.
