. PB and Bacon...gastronomic sensation?

Winters has always been one for runningjokes. I thought I'd never hear the death of Snakes on a Plane jokes, and that was like, nine months ago. Now, it's stingrays. Tonight, I was just having a pint, when I hear two theatre students arguing. Eventually, the most flustered one yelled
"You know what sucks worse than you, Aengus?" The entire table stopped to yell
"STINGRAYS!"
Saints preserve us. Or at least the frosh, cuz if that foolishness don't stop, I might axe somebody.
Also, was reading "Better Homes and Gardens" cookbook, my old school one from 1956. Want a few appetizers to impress all your friends? Give these a try, it'll be keen! (They're fo real)
  • Take 1lb crisp, cooked bacon slices. wrap a slice around a stewed prune stuffed with peanut butter. Fasten with a cocktail pick and serve.
  • Spread peanut butter on small squares of buttered toast. layer crisp, cooked bacon on top. Broil and serve.
  • *Pretzel Kababs* skewer one cube of pork/ham luncheon meat, one cube american cheese, and half a stuffed olive with a pretzel stick. Serve chilled.
