.kalashnikov

I know I've been direlict in my blog duties, so I planned it out this week to maximize my 15 available minutes online. I want to give you a taste of what I do out here, so here is my (ahem) daily routine. Read it and love it as much as I do.
6:00 am: alarm clock goes off. I mostly grumble at it.
6:20: roll out of my sleeping bags, throw on my work clothes, and crawl out of my little tent to greet the day.
6:30-6:45: grab breakfast, make lunch, throw my stuff in the back of the ford, and drink coffee.
7:00 am: leave for the block (clearcut)
8:00-5:15: plant! this is the part of the day where I sing songs, think of you guys, get angry, yell, and generally work. Insert weather here:)
6:00-7:00 pm: dinner. Glorious, glorious food. Last meal, the veggitree-ans got delicious tvp samosas, veggie curry, fresh naan, and spiced banana ice cream for dessert. Best part of the day.
7:00-9:00 pm: hang out with my crew, we swap stories, spin fire, drink, listen to good tunes, play bocce, construct dirt bike jumps, race boxes down gravel pits, hackey sack. I hang with the quebecois and do the above in french as well.
9:00 pm: I go to my tent. Usually I read for about thirty minutes, throw on two sweaters, two pairs of longjohns, wool socks, a toque, mitts, and two sleeping bags. Then I sleep like the dead to do it all again the next day.
On the subject of missing home: there is a girl from ptbo here. she wore a planet bakery shirt to work yesterday, and I did a happy dance. The shirt made my day, the dance made hers. Like a having a bit of home here all the time. hope home rocks on without me, guys.
