She carry a torch for a brown-eyed boy
Spring done come, I won’t get none
And June don’t last, She gone see that torch
Turn ash.
Know a good book? I'm compiling my summer reading list. You have a mission...tell me the title/author in the comments, and I'll buy it, read it treeplanting, and think of you.

Hmm... let's see...
1. Jack Kerouac- "On the Road": I mean, obvious choice right...?
2. Dennis Lee- "Civil Elegies and Other Poems": Poems about Toronto, to remind you of... home.
3. Russell Hoban- "Riddley Walker": Written in a post-apocalyptic new form of the English language... it'll take you all summer just to figure out what the crap it's saying!
4. James Joyce- "Ulysses": It could very well take the entire summer just to read this.
5. Donald Miller- "Blue Like Jazz": Yeah, you've already read it... totally doesn't get old.
6. A classic novel you have never read.
We should go book shopping, hon.
