Reading week is over with a vengeance. I celebrated the occasion by buying books. Six of them. I also went to the doctor, who poked and prodded my face, neck, and chest, and told me I had bronchitis. Now I'm hopped up on antibiotics, though I'm pretty sure my Dad's stand-by vodka method will work better. My generous father sent me home with two bottles of wine, my peppermint schnapps, and a brand new bottle of bailey's. Now, to convince my parents that I'm not a functional alcoholic.
The past week was full of cuddling, good food, and painting tomatoes in my mom's kitchen. My sincerest thanks to the house of Rick and Thom, who lent their fridge, bed, and the occasional videogame controller. I can't wait to come home next. In the meantime, readings, photography and schnapps. Dang. SUCH an art student.
