.kasif

It's been a week. I'm sorry. It's a sin.
I've entered into the week of no sleep, in which I
1) make the last ditch plans for a huge program
2) make the last ditch efforts on some huge paintings
3) do an entire photo project
4) somehow work 4 days in the process.
Comically enough, I had my first farsi lesson on Saturday. Turns out that farsi contains some very important sounds that don't exist in english. I spent the night at my Aunt Terry's watching march of the penguins (good movie) and saying "khoobam" over and over. It doesn't look hard, except that that "kh" is an odd gutteral "h". A cross between paper brushing together and a hiss.
This whole learning farsi thing might take a while. It better not be too long, the rudimentary sentences are pretty bad. "Man Shannon hastam, esme to chie?"
khoobam.
