.lentil soup...good for the soul?

I'm currently sitting in my room, thoroughly enjoying some fresh lentil soup after a long shift at work. Today I was somewhat thrown off, being back at York. My good intentions for getting up were thwarted by my need to sleep in. I woke up at 1:45 pm, after sleeping in, stretched, and looked at my schedule for the day. It said "Work at 2:00". My little heart dropped ten feet. I ran across campus, arms flailing, to my place of work, and got there at 1:57. To look up the schedule to see that I was, indeed, scheduled to work. At five pm. Yessir, it was going to be a long day.
Not much else occured. I picked up some camembert for coffeehouse, sliced up some bagels for the same. People filtered in and out of CASA, asking me what I was up to. Well, slicing bagels. Thats what vice presidents do. Though I did just finish a delightful game of cards with a few of the sheesha boys. The game is called weed...it is imaginative, and involves hippies and dandelions. I did enjoy it.
Meaghan, I feel your pain. For some odd reason, my room is frigid. I hope the situation improves...I'm throwing my coat and dirty clothes on top of my blankets at night to keep warm. It's like treeplanting. Making a little Shannon sized cocoon and not emerging until I feel like it. Or in the case of treeplanting, until Motorhead's Ace of Spades comes screaming from the truck. Shudder.
