Today was all right, for sure. My final abstract drawing class, as well as a stressful programs meeting and hanging out with Conor, who has come back for a few days to chill out and enjoy York sans obligations. Tonight we painted, and Ikea/martha stewardized his $7.00 lamp with tape, blue acrylic and phosphorescent paint. The end result is a trippy, Mondrian-esque lamp that should be in Starving artist handbooks.
After midnight, we went over about a kilometre to the York Ghetto apartments. Conor and I were not-so subtly apartment shopping/dreaming. We were also playing with a ferret. Those things are crazy. It is now like 4:30 in the morning. For the past hour I've been playing euchre...I tanked for the first twenty minutes, and after that I was winning most of the hands. I heart that game. Sleep has got to be done. Tomorrow is a studying kind of day.
