.I heart you, ptown

Conor and I went on a five day break from the reality of life to visit Peterborough and my parents. We had an intense, groundbreaking, good clean fun kind of time.
Thursday morning was spent in life drawing class. I was modelling, and didn't really know what to do with Conor. I could hardly unleash him on the city, but really, does a gay english major want to sit around drawing his close friend's naughty bits for three hours? Turns out he was game for it, so I gave him a sketchbook and a graphite stick. He went nuts as I earned my $15.00 per hour. During coffee break, as we both stood enjoying our dark roasts, he looked at me, wide eyed, and said,
"That was the most intense experience of my life. Now I see why you do art." he then showed me his drawings, which were excellent. I didn't know he had it in him. Neither did he.
After that, it was fettucine alfredo at my house. Then sleepover at Thom's. Conor took it upon himself to completely ransack and redecorate the lower floor...it's CLEAN! and PRETTY! We spent the night on the futon with Jacob the cat.
Friday was a day for traipsing around in the bright sunshine, visiting the Bridge, and getting my second tongue piercing. I wanted Conor to get something. He's piercing addict material. You just know it.
Next day, I mustered up the guts to bring Conor to Curvaceous clothing on Charlotte. He expressed his delight by throwing me in a dressing room and having me sashay through the store having tried on the entirety of its contents. The end result is a flirty little black skirt and a black/pink deep V top with a cleavage keyhole. Yay shopping?
Then we headed over to ancient x to get pierced. We waited around for a half hour, then I told Blake that I wanted three nipples pierced. Two of his, one of mine. That was fun. Painful...but the look of wonder on Conor's face was awesome. Im so proud.
Last night was another futon night, this time downtown. Spent the night dancing at Buddies'. Making a fool (albeit a loveable one) of myself as usual. Mental note: learn to dance with a partner.
